RACE DAY - JULY 9, 2017

  • Race start time 7:45 am
  • Waves will start every 5 min. thereafter at 7:50, 7:55, 8:00, 8:05, and 8:05 am. 
  • Cap Colors and Age Groups schedules will be posted at packet pick up as well as emailed to all participants several days prior to race day. Watch for 2-3 pre race emails from the race director with important information. 
  • Pre race swim warm up may begin when the announcement is made and when lifeguards are in place. 


RACE DAY CHECK IN - liberty lake village beachfront (molter & inlet rd.)

  • Transition Area at the Liberty Lake Village Homeowners Beach area opens at 5:45 am. You should arrive before 7:00 am to be well prepared, rack your bike and get familiar with your surroundings. 
  • Place your bike on the proper age group rack, they will be marked. And please DO NOT MOVE other participant belongings that are not yours.  
  • Don't forget your timing chip, race numbers, swim cap, helmet and try to bring all race gear with you in a back pack or similar bag. There is not much room as we try to fit 5-6 bikes on each rack.
  • Body markings will be done as you enter the transition area. Bib numbers are written on both upper arms and age or T (teams) on the left calf.  
  • PLEASE, no family or friends in the transition area. We promise you'll be fine we our volunteers love to help!
  • Depending on the water and ambient temperatures, wetsuits MAY or MAY NOT be allowed. A final announcement will be made on race morning.

  • PARKING - Athlete or spectator parking is available at the Liberty Lake Elementary school or on Valleyway (next to the golf courses). There is no spectator or participant parking at Pavillion Park. 

  • There are no spectator shuttles this year.  
  • Race Results and Timing will be provided by NomadzRacing.com and will be available shortly after the event at www.nomadzracing.com.
  • Awards will begin at approximately 11:30 am at Pavillion Park near at the finish.  Individual age groups will be awarded 5 deep and all teams are awarded 3 deep.
  • Bicycle mechanical support provided by Fitness Fanatics.
  • Medical and First Aid provided by Valley Hospital and the Bike EMT's.
  • We have a Field Limit of 400 participants.

FINISH LINE VENDOR expo area - race day 8:30 - 12:30 pm:

  • Our vendor booth and expo area hours run from 8:30 am until 12:30 pm on race day in Pavillion Park. Visit our vendors and businesses that support this great event and watch the excitement as the ladies cross the finish line and head over to check out the action.

  • David's Pizza has been a favorite of the ladies for years with their post race pizza. Additional FOOD TICKETS will be available for purchase for family and friends (quantities are limited and will be for sale at packet pick up).

  • Have Beans Will Travel will be at Pavillion Park with coffee and drinks for purchase.

  • All finishers will receive custom Valley Girl Triathlon medallions as they exit the finish area.

  • Fresh fruit and water are readily available near the exit of the finish.

  • Valley Hospital Rockwood is at the finish line area as our medical support.

  • Visit the Transitions Booth and learn more about their impact in our community. Donations will be accepted at the finish line area on race day OR at packet pick up on Friday or Saturday!
